An escape rope or 2 might work better, but this thing is meant to kill things on the bench, not the Active. I really don't think it needs more Boss's Order's.
#Rapid strike urshifu vmax plus
It just works, plus there's no room on the bench if I have Octillery, Passimian, and Medicham out. I'll probably run 3 scoop up thanks to your input. Where I can loop into G Max Rapid Flow very easily thanks to Octillery and Melony grabbing energy for me.

I agree that Raihan would be a great fit for this deck, I'm partial to Melony because I don't need KO'ED Pokémon to use it, which let's me do plays like I tried to explain above. I'd actually have MORE Remoraid and Octillery if I could spare the room. Octillery is super important in searching for RS energy and other things like Pokémon while freeing up Shady Dealings to find more trainer cards. You could then play either Melony right then and there to attach for G Max Rapid Flow, or save it for another turn. But you can't even get a VMAX in play until turn 2, which by the current deck settings, would allow Sobble, Remoraid, or Passimian to retreat by discarding a water energy, assuming you have Octillery lined up waiting after the retreat, it can search for a RS energy. Urishifu VMAX attack relies on switching to do the most damage.

Is there a reason WHY fighting energy is better than water? I understand that Passimian and Urishifu VMAX both need 1 fight energy to attack, but Passimian attack is pretty much garbage if there's a Manaphy in play. I agree with the Urishifu V and that will be the one I end up using since I already have it. Thanks for taking the time to leave a thorough response. Please let me know what you think and any changes you would make are greatly appreciated!Įdit: Here are the improvements I've made so far thanks to suggestions: My only real experience with the Inteleon line is with Ice Rider Calyrex, which I'm trying to mimic here. But sometimes the right card at the right time makes all the difference. I really like the potential this deck has, but I'm not sold if the current set up is fine tuned for the win.

I'm really on the fence on keeping Korrina's Focus, but I don't know if I should switch it with something like Bird Keeper, add another Irida, or something else all together.

Or let medicham and 2 Inteleon to attack the Active and possibly get a successful Yoga Loop.Įarthen Seal Stone is gonna be frigging sweet for this deck when used in combination with G Max Rapid Flow. I like the idea of the one I'm currently using to deal quantifiable bench damage to psychic Pokémon and giving the possibility of 2 Inteleon and Medicham to bench snipe the rest of the way. My main concern is should I be using the other Urishifu V that has does 30 damage and switches to the bench, and deals 150 damage for 3 energies instead of the one I currently have the list? I am trying to make a fairly competitive (I don't plan on winnig first place) standard deck to bring to my LGS on casual play day, while also being viable at home against most expanded decks I play against at home (Shadow Rider with Alcremie VMAX and Gengar & Mimikyu GX) Here's what I've come up with so far.ģ Drizzile SSH 56 1 Inteleon SSH 58 1 Remoraid BST 36 1 Octillery BST 37 2 Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX BST 88 4 Sobble CRE 41 2 Inteleon CRE 43 1 Passimian CRE 88 1 Medicham V EVS 83 2 Rapid Strike Urshifu V PR-SW 107ġ Air Balloon SSH 156 3 Evolution Incense SSH 163 1 Pal Pad SSH 172 1 Hisuian Heavy Ball ASR 146 3 Irida ASR 147 2 Switch Cart ASR 154 1 Earthen Seal Stone SIT 154 2 Energy Search CRZ 128 1 Boss's Orders RCL 154 4 Scoop Up Net RCL 165 1 Tool Scrapper RCL 168 1 Telescopic Sight VIV 160 1 Cheryl BST 123 1 Korrina's Focus BST 128 3 Level Ball BST 129 2 Tower of Waters BST 138 3 Melony CRE 146 1 Peonia CRE 149 2 Quick Ball FST 237Ĥ Water Energy 3 4 Rapid Strike Energy BST 140
